Advice for Trail Runners: The Nike Wildhorse 7 in the Night Forest/Coconut Milk/Dusty Sage colourway is a durable trail shoe with a rugged build that is perfect for tough trail runs. It features Nike React foam, a lightweight and durable foam that provides responsiveness. The Wildhorse 7 has extra cushioning around the heel to help keep your feet secure. Breathable as well as durable, mesh throughout the upper helps to provide ventilation and keep your feet cool.

Multi-surface traction is provided via the multi-directional lugs on the outsole. Made from high-abrasion rubber, the lugs help to provide an enhanced grip on descents and ascents. A Dynamic Fit System through the midfoot hugs and supports your foot as you tackle rocky trails. The segmented rock plate also helps to shield your foot on tough terrain. A gaiter collar around the ankle helps to keep out dirt and debris, while the utility tab at the back of the shoe makes it easier to take on and off.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
