Nike | Women’s Air Zoom Pegasus 39 Running Shoes

Advice for Road Runners: The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39 in the Iris Whisper/Madder Root/Summit White colourway uses the same responsive React foam as its predecessor but now boasts a second Zoom Air unit in the heel to smooth heel-to-toe transitions. The Nike React foam which forms the midsole is lightweight, durable and springy and provides excellent cushioning without bulk.

The Air Zoom Pegasus 39 retains a wider forefoot with more space for your toes, and boasts improved durability with the addition of extra rubber in the heel area and increased flexibility through additional flex grooving on the outsole. 

Flywire and a fit-band have been added to the upper to hold the foot securely and to relieve potential pressure points across the top of the foot. Strengthened engineered mesh in the upper enhances durability and comfort, both of which are also aided by a more padded tongue and heel collar.

The Air Zoom Pegasus 39 still feels responsive but now offers a slightly softer, more flexible feel and is well suited to running across a range of paces.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
